The Masters Cup was started on a Master's Friday 1986 at Beloit CC. Roger Hamilton, Pat Leary, John Robertson, and yours truly were looking for a little game before the Masters came on CBS @ 3P back then.
In 2005 I decided the Masters Cup should be dedicated to a purpose. That purpose is St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. To date we've raised over $37,500 for St. Jude. This year is the 20th anniversary for St. Jude and we're doing something more and special. Please see our registration form for golfing options and other ways to sponsor and / or donate. My Story: My next door neighbor Jill and I were born in the same month in 1956. Since I can remember we did everything together. We were just kids learning about life. She died late in 1961 of malignant lymphoma suffering a year. In 1962 Danny Thomas founded St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. I can't help but think Jill could be alive today if she had the opportunity to receive treatment at Danny's cancer care giving hospital in Memphis...
