Welcome to Masters Cup for St. Jude
Our History
The Masters Cup was started on a Master's Friday 1986 at Beloit CC. Roger Hamilton, Pat Leary, John Robertson, and yours truly were looking for a little game before the Masters came on CBS @ 3P back then.
In 2005 I decided the Masters Cup should be dedicated to a purpose. That purpose is St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. To date we've raised $63,355 for St. Jude. This year is the 21st anniversary for St. Jude. Please see our registration form for golfing options and other ways to sponsor and / or donate. The 'WHY' for St. Jude
My Story: My next door neighbor Jill and I were born in the same month in 1956. Since I can remember we did everything together. We were just kids learning about life. She died late in 1961 of malignant lymphoma suffering a year. In 1962 Danny Thomas founded St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. I can't help but think Jill could be alive today if she had the opportunity to receive treatment at Danny's cancer care giving hospital in Memphis...
